DAC53608: Design Tool for Output Voltage Adjustment using a DAC - SLVC780

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62088

Hello all!

I'm reaching out to the wider and more experienced audience to see if anyone has experience with using the Excel based design tool as described in SLVC780. I'm trying to use the model setup in the spreadsheet calculator but with different switching regulator output voltage (0 to 45V) and DAC53608 output voltage (0 to 4.9V). On the positive output voltage sheet, the Vouthigh is highlighted in red, which means it's out of range, but I'm wondering if this indication can be ignored. Similarly on the positive evaluation tab, the output voltage is on the 'low' side, only ranging from 1.93 to -0.54V based on the values inputted on the positive output voltage sheet. How do I also change this (Excel formula?) to closer reflect the 0 to 45V I'm expecting? Vfb is 0.97V, Rdacoff is 10kohm. Vdacoff is 0V.

The Excel tool also has a note mentioning that this tool can be extended to any converter so I'm wondering if there's indeed a limitation or not?

Thanks so much in advance for help!

Ed
