I am using a 3.6V lithium ion coin cell battery (LIR2450) in my project, and I'm trying to find the best option for creating a stable 3.3V or 3.0V output from it, whether that's by using a voltage regulator or voltage reference IC. Also, I need the IC to have an undervoltage lockout feature so the battery would be disconnected if the voltage goes below 2.75V. Is there a single IC that can accomplish these two things? I am using an external charger, so I don't need the IC to contain a charger. Also, I'm confused about whether the IC needs to be specifically made for lithium ion batteries. I have no experience with this so I would appreciate advice on what would be optimal in this situation.
